New European portfolio manager for Standard Life Investments Print

Standard Life Investments, the global real estate manager, has announced the appointment of Séverine Laffineur as European portfolio manager in its Paris Office. Laffineur will join Standard Life Investments on 18 July 2011.

Reporting to Daniel Mchugh, Laffineur, who was previously a national director at LaSalle Investment Management in Paris, will be responsible for deal sourcing and acquisitions for the Company’s growing European real estate business as well as asset management of existing investments.

Commenting on the appointment, Daniel Mchugh, head of continental European real estate, said: "We are delighted that Séverine is joining the Paris office and I know she will make an excellent addition to the team. She brings with her a wealth of experience and contacts at a time when our funds are in active investment mode and our client list is growing. We are very positive about the European real estate market and Séverine's expertise in acquisitions will be invaluable as we continue to expand our market share."
